Over the last couple months my fashion style has been going through changes. I feel like my personal style has been evolving and my current wardrobe (minus some things) is no longer working for me. Maybe it's because I'm turning 30 this year and I just want something you ever feel like that? Do you ever feel like this outfit no longer represents you and who you are?  Do you ever feel like you have no style inspiration in your closet? I hope I'm not the only one. Although I get compliments on what I wear, lately I feel like I would rather be wearing something else.

If I could describe my new style, I would say it's a mix of MINIMALIST - GLAM - CHIC. More European: Neutral colors, fitted silhouettes, solids, basic prints (stripes/leopard), and sequins for the win. A LOT of my inspiration comes from Kim Kardashian. I love the nudes, fitted dresses, long jackets and how she pairs them with bomb shoes and handbags. I still love my florals and prints, but right now I'm feeling more neutral colors like Tan, Olive, Denim, and BLUSH. Long duster jackets, block heels, one strap heels, and body suits are also becoming some of my favorites in fashion.

I've began to carefully go through my closet and evaluate everything I have and measured how well it will go with my new style. I have quite a few trendy items, but I really want to began purchasing quality pieces going forward that will stand the test of style and time; especially my shoes and handbags. I've been looking to Instagram and fashion magazines for inspiration, so I'm not just buying new ISH all willy nilly and blowing money fast, but creating style boards for myself to vision my new "wannabe" style. I want to keep my style chic and simple with a touch of glam, whether it be a print, sequins, bomb shoes, a rocking piece of jewelry, or a fabulous handbag. Over the next couple months I will be bringing these style boards to LIFE and sharing them on the blog.

So, I know some of you may be asking "What are you going to do with your old clothes?"...which I have a lot of since I regularly go through my closet and some pieces still have tags on them. I have decided to open an ONLINE RESALE STORE, which I will be launching in the next month!!! I'm super excited. I know in Houston, good plus size resale shops are hard to find. I look forward to sharing more about my new online store soon. STAY FABULOUS!!!
